1. Dressing for Winter: Please make sure your child wears a warm jacket to school along with hat, gloves, and boots, as needed. We expect all students to participate in outdoor recess for fresh air. If you need assistance securing warm clothing, reach out to Jennifer Greenstein, School Social Worker, jgreenstein@seattleschools.org
2. Progress Reports will be available for parents to view on Monday, Dec. 18. Follow these steps to check your child’s report card:
– If you have previously set up your Source account, enter your username and password. If you have not set up your Source account, information on how to set up your Source account. Your username is the email address on the school record.
– In the top right-hand corner, select which child’s progress reports you would like to access. Classes shown for students are a list of subjects (not necessarily in order) the selected student studies throughout the day.
3. Preparing for Winter Weather: As we move into the colder months, you may want to review how you will receive urgent weather information from Seattle Public Schools.

4. Arbor Heights Yearbook Cover Design Contest! Interested students are invited to enter our contest by creating a design that includes elements of the Salish Sea. Our student body will vote on their favorite design which will be featured on the cover of the yearbook. Runner up drawings will be included throughout the yearbook and on the back cover. Designs must be submitted on an 8-1/2” x 11” paper (no lined paper). Write your name on the BACK only. Submissions are due Friday, January 5, 2024. Information on the Salish Sea and the Coast Salish People can be found at through the Burke Museum and the SeaDoc Society.

- Direct Drive: We are incredibly grateful to the 50 donors who have given to the PTSA Direct Drive Campaign so far. We have brought in $10,295 of our $25,000 goal, which is a great start. - Girls on the Run! The After School Enrichment Committee is looking for volunteers interested in learning more about becoming coaches for the Girls on the Run program in the Spring.
