Arbor Heights Elementary Leadership Announcement

Dear Arbor Heights Community,

Please join me in welcoming Ms. Lauren Porto as the new principal at Arbor Heights Elementary School!

She will begin the role as principal on July 1, 2025.

Principal Porto was selected through a formal interview process that included participation of staff, students, parents, and community. What stood out to the Arbor Heights interview team was her collaborative vision for Arbor Heights that is reflective of what the community has named as priorities, along with her expertise with inclusionary practices and special education.

Principal Porto is looking forward to building from the strengths of Arbor Heights and partnering with the community.

I want to express my thanks to Principal Nooria Miskell for accepting the interim principal position and for her leadership at Arbor Heights this year.

We will be setting up opportunities for building staff, students, and families to meet with Principal

Porto in her new role.
