Assemblies

Each month, our school community comes together for SOAR Assemblies—a joyful time to celebrate the many ways our students Solve problems, Own our learning, Act safely and respectfully, and Reflect and grow. During these assemblies, students are recognized for their efforts, achievements, and growth, and we take time to lift one another up as a community.
SOAR Assemblies are more than awards—they are moments of connection, pride, and belonging. We celebrate kindness, perseverance, leadership, and learning across all grades, reinforcing what it means to be a Junior Seahawk.
Throughout the year, we also gather for additional assemblies and schoolwide celebrations, including observances such as Veterans Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, as well as special performances and community celebrations that honor our shared values, history, and voices.
We always close by raising our voices together with the Arbor Heights Cheer, reminding us who we are and what we stand for:
“A-R-B-O-R! Arbor Heights is who we are!
H-E-I-G-H-T-S! Arbor Heights is the best!
Soaring, learning, having fun—Junior Seahawks number one!”
