Our speech language pathologist is at Arbor Heights 5 days a week. She works with students at Arbor Heights on oral communication disorders that impact their educational success as identified by a team evaluation process. Federal and state legal guidelines are followed to identify students that require these school-based services. Her students may have disabilities in receptive and expressive language skills, pragmatic/social language areas, speech sound production, conversational intelligibility, stuttering or voice. The speech language pathologist is also available to consult with teachers and parents as we all work together to support the success of our students.
